Terms, privacy, and the rules of the shelf

The operator of factapp.xyz runs Curio. A legal entity and country will be named here before this is treated as a finished company. Until then, this page is the rulebook the site actually follows.

Age

Curio is for people 16 and older. We do not ask your birthday. If we learn an account is held by someone younger, we delete it.

Not advice

Cards are information with a source. They are not medical advice, financial advice, or a suggestion to buy anything, including Kaspa.

Money

Reading and posting are free. A tip is a Kaspa transaction from your wallet to an author's address. Support and ads are Kaspa transactions to the published treasury. Curio never holds those coins and cannot refund them. Kaspa cannot charge you on a schedule. You send each payment yourself.

Privacy

We store a display name, a recovery-code hash, an optional Kaspa address, the cards you write, and the cards you keep. We do not sell personal data. We do not run a third-party ad network. IP addresses are stored only as a salted hash, for rate limits, and those rows are not a profile.

Your card

Post a short paraphrase or a short quotation, with the source. Do not paste a chapter. If a rights holder writes to legal@factapp.xyz with the card link and the work, we remove the card. Repeat removals can close posting.

Conduct

No harassment. No sexual content involving minors. No instructions for wrongdoing. Ordinary sourced notes about health or money are allowed when they stay information.
